Wipeout HD
[edit]- ... that the release of Wipeout HD was delayed for a few months because it had failed epilepsy tests?
- ALT1:... that Wipeout HD received controversy over its in-game advertising after many people complained of extended loading times?

- I find the first hook far more interesting. However, for it to make sense I think requires that "the release of" be added at the start. Meets time requirement – promoted to GA within seven days of nomination – and is obviously long enough. Reads fairly neutrally; spot check found no copyvios or close paraphrasing – I did see some duplication from Wipeout (series), and initially thought there might be a WP:COPYWITHIN problem, but then saw you added the content there, so no problem. Hook fact is cited but here's the issue: what is the reliability of the cited hook source? I have little background in videogames and none in videogame articles so my knowledge of common sources in the area is nonexistent but it doesn't jump out at me as obviously reliable. What is PS3 News? Who is Gavin Ogden, what is CVG? Is this user-generated content?--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 03:35, 16 March 2017 (UTC)
- @Fuhghettaboutit: thanks for the thorough review! I've changed wording of the hook accordingly—sounds much better that way. Computer and Video Games (CVG) is a reliable source and is listed on WP:VG/RS. It used to be a magazine but became online-only in later years. Gavin Ogden is the author of the article, and I think "PS3 News" is just the name of the header or the section of the article as it covered news about the PlayStation 3. Thanks again for reviewing! - Got it. To others: yes, it is listed in the Wikiproject's list of reliable sources, and does appear to be an independent, non-user generated source. Good luck Jaguar!--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 12:53, 16 March 2017 (UTC)
