William Neville (poet)
[edit]- ... that poet William Neville made himself a cloak of linen and buckskin which he hoped would render him invisible?

- I'll asume that the offline source for this is correct, but otherwise everything else checks out! Kevin Rutherford (talk) 01:25, 20 December 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for checking it. I've moved the Elton citation (which links to Elton's book online) so that it follows right after the quotation. NinaGreen (talk) 06:21, 20 December 2012 (UTC)
- QPQ required now that a fifth self-nomination has just been promoted. Also, the article (and the source) seem to say that he did in fact make the cloak (I liked the bit about the guy having so much trouble finding all the necessary supplies), though it doesn't say whether the cloak worked. So "tried" isn't quite accurate, and I think the hook should be modified to reflect this. BlueMoonset (talk) 04:58, 29 December 2012 (UTC)

- QPQ completed, and the hook works better now. Even so, I'd like to suggest changing the wording slightly to replaced "hoped":
