Comment: The DYK Check script doesn't show that it's been 5x expanded, but that's because the person data, which took up a few hundred bytes, was removed a few years ago, so I'm pretty sure it still would be considered 5x expanded, despite what the script is. Also, the Copyvio detector shows a high percentage match with the ADB ref and the DCB ref. However, if you look closer, all of these are either titles that can't be paraphrased any further (e.g. Lieutenant Governor of St. Kitts) or simply quotes, so the article shouldn't be in any danger of copyvios, plagiarism, or close paraphrasing; though please let me know if that's a problem and I'll try to fix it the best I can.--SkyGazer 512Oh no, what did I do this time? 01:12, 25 October 2018 (UTC)
5x expanded by SkyGazer 512 (talk). Self-nominated at 01:07, 25 October 2018 (UTC).
Overall: As a question, though, why isn't the PD main image used in the nom? L293D (☎ • ✎) 01:32, 25 October 2018 (UTC)
@L293D: I don't know much about images in DYKs, but I don't see why this one would be a problem, considering the image is public domain and all attribution is listed, so I went ahead and added it as well as proposed an alternate hook accordingly (I did it above the whole "Please do not edit above this line unless you are a DYK volunteer who is closing the discussion," I hope that's okay). If you think the hook and the image I have are okay, I'll strike the original hook.--SkyGazer 512Oh no, what did I do this time? 19:29, 25 October 2018 (UTC)
Image is good. Normally DYK nominators put the image in when creating then nom with the subst:NewDYKnomination template, so normally the only editor to edit over the hook is the closer. Also, having (pictured) does not need an ALT hook since there are too many DYKs with images and its up to DYK admins to decide which hook appears with its image and which one doesn't. Generally you add (pictured) and the DYK admin will remove it if the hook does not get promoted on the Main Page with the image. L293D (☎ • ✎) 19:41, 25 October 2018 (UTC)
@L293D: Thanks for the explanation. I've seen on the main page that the DYK section only has one image, so I thought something like that might be the case. Do you want me to replace the original with ALT1 and remove ALT1, and then just let the DYK promoter remove the (pictured) text if they choose another image to go on the main page?--SkyGazer 512Oh no, what did I do this time? 19:56, 25 October 2018 (UTC)
Yes, that's what is usually done. L293D (☎ • ✎) 13:23, 26 October 2018 (UTC)
