  • Date, length and hook all OK. QPQ done, no close paraphrasing. Picture licence fine. I did have thoughts of is this a COI in Wikipedia using DYK to talk about their new Wiki project? But I believe that it is not, that being said I don't think we should use @Jimbo Wales:'s picture as that may be seen by outsiders as a bit of self promotion (just playing Devil's advocate here). Otherwise good to go. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 07:57, 29 April 2017 (UTC)
  • Thanks for the quick review but please note that this is clearly not a Wikipedia or WMF sponsored initiative and so there is no conflict of interest in our coverage. Most of the mainstream sources that cover this seem to use a prominent picture of Jimbo - BBC, LA Times, TIME, etc – and so we are free to do the same. To deliberately downplay the item would not be WP:NPOV and might give the impression that we were snubbing it deliberately because this wasn't done through WMF channels. To give it special, hostile treatment would put us in the same camp as the Daily Mail. Andrew D. (talk) 08:22, 29 April 2017 (UTC)
