Walk Like A Panther

[edit]

Created by Launchballer (talk). Self-nominated at 14:59, 30 November 2015 (UTC).

  • I like this song, it's within my vocal range and only has two chords :-) The article was created on 30 November, and is only just over 1.5K of prose so a little expansion wouldn't hurt (such as it was the first hit for Tony Christie in years and years). However, the hook is not cited to a reliable source, so I can't pass this - I have added a [citation needed] tag to highlight this. The copyvio checker midly grumbles about the NME quotation, which could be trimmed down to avoid close paraphrasing; resolving that would probably drop the article below the required length, causing an additional problem. Honestly, that's why I wrote a substantial number of articles on certain songs and game shows. I've cited it to a reliable source and further expanded it; rather than slash the quote, I've added some bits in the middle of it... have a look.--Launchballer 12:21, 2 December 2015 (UTC)
Okay, that's better, and the hook is now cited. However, the BBC Entertainment source only says the single reached the top ten, not that it reached #10 itself. An Official Charts Company source should sort that one out. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 12:41, 2 December 2015 (UTC)
Oops, I think I misread the source. Fixed.--Launchballer 14:46, 2 December 2015 (UTC)
In that case, we are good to go, everything verified via online sources. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 15:04, 2 December 2015 (UTC)
