Wahan Ke Log
- ... that Wahan Ke Log is one of the earliest science-fiction films made in India? Source: ("While this was not strictly true – there had been some previous attempts to make science-fiction films in India, mainly B-movies such as Miss Chaalbaaz (1961), Trip to Moon (1967) and Wahan Ke Log (1967)." Smith, Iain Robert (2016). Hollywood Meme: Transnational Adaptations in World Cinema. Edinburgh University Press. p. 117.)
- ALT1:... that Wahan Ke Log is the first Hindi science-fiction film? Source: "The first Indian movie (in Hindi) which had some element of Sci-Fi in it was Wahan ke Log (people from there) and included visitors from Mars in its story." (Mohan Nautiyal, Chandra (20 June 2008). "A look at S&T Awareness - Enhancements in India". Journal of Science Communication.)

- The cast list and song list, including the artists, need to be referenced. Otherwise, this is almost ready to go. The other requirements are met. SL93 (talk) 22:47, 24 September 2020 (UTC)
- The QPQ check says you have no previous DYKs, but your user page shows more than 5. A QPQ is needed. SL93 (talk) 22:54, 24 September 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you, SL93. Okay, points addressed, review done for Titanic International Society. Shahid • Talk2me 13:46, 25 September 2020 (UTC)
- This is ready. I prefer ALT1 because it is the first completed Hindi sci-fi film which I feel is more interesting than it being "one of the earliest" in India. SL93 (talk) 16:20, 25 September 2020 (UTC)
- Hi, I came by to promote ALT1, but while this source may say it's the first, your article keeps calling it
one of the first
orone of the earliest

- I will approve the original hook if the nominator can't fix the issue. SL93 (talk) 00:51, 29 September 2020 (UTC)
- ALT2: ... that the strange visitors from Mars are on the way? Yoninah (talk) 00:58, 29 September 2020 (UTC)

- I'd pick ALT2 anyday. :) Anyway, there's no contradiction actually - one of the earliest Indian films, and the earliest Hindi film - which are not the same. I think either hook can be approved, but maybe the original gives a less exraordinary claim, which is probably more fitting at this stage. Shahid • Talk2me 08:19, 29 September 2020 (UTC)

- @SL93: what happened to ALT2 for April Fools Day? And didn't the nominator prefer that? Yoninah (talk) 17:27, 29 September 2020 (UTC)
- Even if that is the case, the nominator never mentioned anything about April Fool's Day...let's just wait for Shshshsh SL93 (talk) 17:30, 29 September 2020 (UTC)
- @Shshshsh: could you be more specific in your comment? Do you want this to run on April Fools Day? Or do you want ALT0 to run now? Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 18:07, 29 September 2020 (UTC)
