Violetta Thurstan
[edit]- that after winning the Military Medal for bravery in World War I, nurse Violetta Thurstan (pictured) studied weaving and ran camps where displaced Bedouin women made carpets?

- The article is long enough, nominated timely, and an interesting read. The hook is cited. The image is public domain. No copyvios found. My question is whether there should have been a QPQ done. I don't know if User:Lelijg has previously nominated five DYK's, or not. (Where is the bot when I need it?) Aside from that question it is good to go. MelanieN (talk) 01:25, 15 September 2016 (UTC)
