I agree with Dysklyver that this article meets the DYK criteria. Although this article is not a BLP, previous DYK discussion shows that the hook should not concentrate unduly on negatives aspects of the perpetrator. For this reason, I am approving ALT3 as being the most suitable for use. As an aside, is this statement "French police filed an extradition request to send Wood back to the United Kingdom for prosecution" really correct? I would expect the British authorities to be filing an extradition request, not the French. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 09:16, 16 October 2017 (UTC)
@Cwmhiraeth: sorry, I've now corrected that. Thanks, DrStrausstalk 11:51, 16 October 2017 (UTC)
@Cwmhiraeth: I think "body" is an unfortunate choice of words in ALT3. ALT0 and ALT5 look short and hooky enough; are they also approved? Yoninah (talk) 22:00, 4 November 2017 (UTC)
I have substituted "service" for "body" in ALT3. Perhaps I was wrong in the point I was making about BLPs, and ALT1 seems pretty hooky to me now. After all, he was convicted of the offence. So let's go for ALT1, ALT3 or ALT5. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:57, 5 November 2017 (UTC)
