I gave his article an infobox, which was removed twice, - thoughts? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:41, 10 October 2018 (UTC)
- Hi Gerda, I started the review and came across the issue of the Weiße Rose and White Rose links, which both point to the same article, the resistance group one. Should one go to Weiße Rose (opera) instead? This should probably be fixed first before any further review as it is a little confusing. Also, I suggest adding the words resistance group to Weiße Rose as I'm not sure how well known the Weiße Rose is outside Germany. Turismond (talk) 05:09, 18 October 2018 (UTC)
- Apart from the hook issue the length and date of the article are ok and its neutral. QPQ has been met and there is no copyright violations as far as I can detect. There is however two more issues. The article does not state that the opera is about the resistance group and the operas have no references. I have dug deeper through the articles sources, Lebenselixier Musik - Komponist Udo Zimmermann wird 75 confirms that the opera is about the resistance movement and that he wrote it as a student. It doesn't say anything about a second opera however. Turismond (talk) 05:28, 18 October 2018 (UTC)
- I have added a referenced sentenced on the operas connection to the resistance movement and the fact that Zimmermann composed it as a student (does this exclude me from the review now?). You will just have to fix the hook and add a source to the article confirming that two separate operas existed. Turismond (talk) 05:46, 18 October 2018 (UTC)
- Thank you, very constructive! I found an excellent source about his complete work, which is already in the Schuhu opera (a comparison of 6 GDR composers). I would like to write more about him, - hopefully later today, and hopefully find there what I need. I fixed the link to the opera, - my bad. The German Wikipedia has two articles about the operas, and I wonder if we should do the same. - I added "resistance group" to the hook, because there may be people who don't immediately know. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 06:08, 18 October 2018 (UTC)
- Turismond, I added a bit, not as much as I wanted, but hopefully enough to support the hook. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:04, 18 October 2018 (UTC)
- I'm happy with it, all the statements in the hooks are now referenced by German-language sources which support them. To continue the review, the image has an OTRS ticket and, I think, the hook is interesting, given the somewhat unusual concept of composing an opera about a WWII resistance group. There is just one little thing to do here, Alt1 needs the link to the opera fixed and, ideally, have resistance group added as well, like you did on the original hook. I'm probably not allowed to do that, being the reviewer? Turismond (talk) 00:31, 19 October 2018 (UTC)
