Truth or Dare (fragrance)
[edit]- ... that the perfume Truth or Dare was inspired by singer Madonna's memory of her mother's fragrance?

- Hook: Interesting, short enough, cited.
- Article: New enough, long enough. Referencing is thorough and well-formated. Paraphrasing is an issue. Look at this, this, and this. Also, a lot of these direct quotes should be paraphrased into your own words. Directly quoting a press release is a sure way to violate WP:NPOV. The prices of the fragrance / lotions should not be included, and describing the product as a fresh interpretation of her mother's scent is not NPOV.
- Summary: Needs major work for paraphrasing and NPOV issues. Crisco 1492 (talk) 08:30, 25 December 2011 (UTC)
- Thank you Crisco for pointing out the errors. I will get back to work on them soon. I can understand from where the paraphrasing issues cropped up though. — Legolas (talk2me) 13:30, 25 December 2011 (UTC)
- It's a picture of a product, not a logo. That's why I tagged it as a speedy. As for the picture, once the product is released a free image would be easy to obtain and it would thus fail FUC 1. Crisco 1492 (talk) 14:51, 25 December 2011 (UTC)
- I've spoken with Nyttend regarding the image and it seems that the picture is fine until the perfume is released; if it has been released, then a free image would have to be found. Text is still an issue though. Crisco 1492 (talk) 02:29, 26 December 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for explaining Crisco. A free image won't be a problem since I have already ordered it. As for the prose, I will update soon in a few hours. — Legolas (talk2me) 13:16, 26 December 2011 (UTC)
- Hi Crisco, can you please take a look into the prose now? It has been thoroughly copy-edited, modified structures, removing areas where I feel NPOV is violated, or tweaked them significantly. — Legolas (talk2me) 16:31, 26 December 2011 (UTC)
- New paraphrasing checks: fine, fine, needs work, fine. A little bit of work is still necessary. Crisco 1492 (talk) 11:41, 27 December 2011 (UTC)
(→)Any suggestions please? — Legolas (talk2me) 16:26, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
- For example, "will be released exclusively at macy's in april 2012 in the united states with global distribution beginning in may" can be changed into "will be released in the United States in April 2012 exclusively at Macy's. Global distribution will begin in May 2012.", "produced in collaboration with fabien baron" could be "produced with fabien baron", etc. Crisco 1492 (talk) 06:29, 30 December 2011 (UTC)
- That's good. Crisco 1492 (talk) 23:35, 3 January 2012 (UTC)
