Tomb of Isa Khan
[edit]... that the plan of the Tomb of Isa Khan (pictured) is similar to that of the Tomb of Sikandar Lodi?
Created by Royroydeb (talk). Self-nominated at 17:41, 26 May 2019 (UTC).
- Unfortunately, I've had to strike the original hook as it's not exactly interesting to a broad audience: I don't think the Tomb of Sikandar Lodi is a household name, and I think those unfamiliar with it will be able to appreciate the hook. If possible, try proposing something that appeals even to those unfamiliar with Indian history. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 02:23, 27 May 2019 (UTC)
- @Narutolovehinata5:
- ALT1: ... that the inscription at the Tomb of Isa Khan claims that the tomb is an "asylum of peace"?
ALT2: ... that Tomb of Isa Khan was built with the architectural style of Lodhi dynasty during the Sur Empire?RRD (talk) 03:30, 27 May 2019 (UTC)
- Of the two hooks, ALT2 probably is best for the history buffs, but ALT1 is the one that might catch the attention of most readers. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 12:06, 31 May 2019 (UTC)
- @Narutolovehinata5: Whichever you feel good. RRD (talk) 15:08, 1 June 2019 (UTC)
- ALT 2, please. ∯WBGconverse 15:27, 2 June 2019 (UTC)

- Full review needed now that new hooks have been proposed. BlueMoonset (talk) 04:51, 4 July 2019 (UTC)
- Article meets requirements, QPQ provided, no close paraphrasing found. ALT1 is the only hook that is approved; ALT2 is rejected as the sentence that discusses it does not have a citation (I presume the source used was the Ranjan Kumar Singh, as it is the citation for the part that comes after), it is grammatically incorrect, and the article itself does not mention the Sur Empire. Assuming good faith for the ALT1 source. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 12:36, 21 July 2019 (UTC)
- @Narutolovehinata5 and Royroydeb: I came to promote this, but ALT1 differs from the text in the article. The article says that it is "tomb of paradise" as opposed to "tomb of peace". StudiesWorld (talk) 12:33, 27 July 2019 (UTC)
- @StudiesWorld:. Yes it must be paradise
