Toakai Teitoi
[edit]- ... that Toakai Teitoi, a man from the Republic of Kiribati was helped by a shark after 105 days lost at sea?

- Article is currently at afd for notability issues. Half of the article is not about the subject, who only appears in one source (which does at least confirm the essence of the hook). The idea that he was 'helped' by the shark seems like a strong claim as well. The apparently random actions of the shark drew his attention towards a boat that was already on its way to rescue him. On top of this, the article is also too short as it stands, least 1500 characters are needed, at present it has just 956 characters. Benea (talk) 14:00, 20 September 2012 (UTC)
- I will also add that despite the claim of PQP, the nominator does not appear to have performed a sufficient review of Point Gammon Light. But this isn't a failing for this nomination since the nominator does not yet have over 5 DYK credits. Benea (talk) 14:02, 20 September 2012 (UTC)
