Titanic Belfast

[edit]

Front view of Titanic Belfast

  • ... that the new Titanic Belfast visitor attraction (pictured) tells the story of the ill-fated RMS Titanic through interactive videos, audio, replicas and displays?

  • The overall length, and the level of expansion both check out fine, and the article is well referenced throughout, with no signs of plaguarism or close para-phrasing. However, I am concerned that a hook of this sort on the main page would be in contravention of WP:NOTADVERTISING: it does read like a short advert for the centre. • I'm not sure I really agree with that; it's a statement of fact (that's what the place does, after all) and it's not as if it's saying "this place is great, come and visit". I'll ask for more views on the DYK talk page. Prioryman (talk) 20:17, 7 April 2012 (UTC)
  • On re-visiting this, I think I was probably overly critical. While the line could be taken as a short advert, it is nevertheless written objectively and without trying to promote the attraction. Good to go. Harrias talk 10:23, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
