Throne of Maximian
[edit]- ... that Archbishop Maximianus commissioned a throne that would never be used?
- ALT1 ... that the Throne of Maximian has scenes from the Book of Genesis carved into it?

Length and history verified; offline ref accepted AGF. However, I'd like to see some rewrite work done so that instead of starting off telling us about the "differing perspectives" on the throne's origin, it tells us what the throne is, who made it and where it is as the lead section should. I shouldn't have to find out deep in the article that it's currently at the Archiepiscopal Museum, Ravenna. And can't we have a picture? Even if we have to do it with a fair-use rationale?
