- Note to reviewers: You don't need to source all the hooks; just the one you find most compelling. — LlywelynII 05:19, 16 November 2016 (UTC)
- The article was nominated 5 days after it was created. It is long enough and impeccably sourced, as well as rather intriguing. The nominator has reviewed another nomination as required.
I strongly favour ALT4, and have taken the liberty to change the word order (to highlight the hooky fact) and to strike out the rest. ALT5 and ALT2 are also very good.I really cannot decide which hook I like best. An Italian beheaded for describing Muhammad as demonic during a medieval domestic violence case in India? That's simply brilliant. Perhaps a combination of ALT2 and ALT4 would be best, specifying that the Christians jailed him for criticizing the clergy's opulence and that the Muslims beheaded him for stating that Muhammad was the son of the Devil. Although, I have to wonder who reported this story, since all four missionaries were killed. Surtsicna (talk) 21:31, 22 November 2016 (UTC)
- @Surtsicna: You have approved this nomination, but all the hooks are struck! Could you clarify the position? Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:51, 25 November 2016 (UTC)
- Sorry, I wanted to start striking all hooks except for ALT4 but then realized I could not make my mind. Due to an oversight, the first <s> remained in place. Which hook sounds best to you,Cwmhiraeth? Surtsicna (talk) 15:42, 25 November 2016 (UTC)
- I have not looked at the article, but assuming all the hooks are properly supported and cited, I like ALT1 and ALT4 best. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 17:49, 25 November 2016 (UTC)
- Comment: I'm fine with running ALT1, ALT3, and ALT4 on different days if it's hard to choose just one. What does EEng think? — LlywelynII 09:58, 30 November 2016 (UTC)
