The woman who made up her mind
- ... that Better Together's "The woman who made up her mind" advert opposing Scottish independence so upset politician Sandra Grieve that she changed her mind and began supporting it? Source: "Sandra Grieve, former convener of the Scottish Liberal Democrats, told the Guardian that the advert had finally convinced her to vote yes.
'It was the straw that broke the camel's back. I was a very clear no,' said Grieve, who was a member of the Scottish Constitutional Convention which developed the framework for devolution, 'but I've been increasingly uncomfortable with what I experience as a condescending smugness from Better Together.", "Scottish independence: no campaign's new ad convinces some to vote yes", The Guardian, 27 August 2014.- ALT1:
... that Better Together responded to claims that its pro-union "The woman who made up her mind" advert was sexist by saying that its dialog came from actual women the campaign had talked to?Source: "Better Together insisted that the words spoken in the film had been taken verbatim from conversations on the doorstep with undecided women and from dozens of focus groups around the country" same source as above - ALT2:
... that despite criticism of its "The woman who made up her mind" advert as sexist, Better Together said it tested better with undecided voters than they expected?"The advert led to much mockery and the hashtag #PatronisingBTWoman to start trending on Twitter, but the campaign was surprised by the reaction, McDougall said. 'That video tested exceptionally well with undecided voters,' he said."; "Better Together Campaign Chief: We Would Have Struggled To Win Without 'Scaremongering'", Buzzfeed News; 22 September 2014

- New enough, long enough, neutrally written, well referenced, no close paraphrasing seen. ALT0 is very hooky; hook ref verified and cited inline. QPQ done. The only thing I would suggest is a screen grab of the video to illustrate the article. Good to go. Yoninah (talk) 19:59, 10 September 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks. I am actually considering including a video clip in the infobox if I can ... it's actually easier to justify that than a still. Daniel Case (talk) 20:12, 10 September 2019 (UTC)
