The Wabe
[edit]... that The Wabe (pictured) in London's Hampstead is being sold by the actor Tom Conti, because the footballer Thierry Henry is demolishing his house next door to build a new one?Source: "Actor Tom Conti has put his £17.5million Hampstead mansion up for sale after a long-running battle with his neighbours. Conti, who has been in a dispute with his neighbour Arsenal legend Thierry Henry over building works, has put his north London home on the market. ... Back in 2012 Conti criticised neighbour Henry’s plans to demolish his home, which backs on to Conti’s, in order to build a new one which would include a 40ft fish tank. Henry’s plans included a 25,000-litre aquarium spiralling from a swimming pool, bar and cinema in the basement to the master bedroom on the second floor." ... that The Wabe (pictured) in London's Hampstead includes architecture in the Arts and Crafts, Art Nouveau and Scottish Baronial styles? - Alt 2 ... that the architecture of The Wabe (pictured) in London's Hampstead was inspired by Lewis Carroll's nonsense poem Jabberwocky?
- Alt 3 ... that Isadora Duncan danced at The Wabe (pictured) in London's Hampstead to raise money for the cause of women's suffrage?

- Interesting house, on few but good sources, no copyvio obvious. The image is licensed and a good illustration. The original hook puts too much emphasis on the neighbour, ALT1 is true but less unusual, both others made me want to read! As I recently had some ask who Isadora Duncan is, ALT3 might be slightly better for general readers. - Just waiting for qpq. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:37, 18 April 2017 (UTC)
- (Not a full review) A QPQ review appears to be needed before this can move forward. North America1000 23:20, 15 May 2017 (UTC)
- Please let me understand why you think this was needed (and for what), while the last sentence above said "waiting for a qpq"? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:57, 16 May 2017 (UTC)
- Gerda Arendt, probably because you said so four weeks prior, which is an excessive time period to wait for said QPQ. If it were me, I'd give Edwardx one final week to provide the review before marking it for closure. (I've just pinged his talk page, so I'm hopeful that he'll provide one before then.) - Thank you BlueMoonset and Gerda Arendt for your patience. QPQ now done. Edwardx (talk) 10:44, 23 May 2017 (UTC)
- - In your review, you may say "hooks" instead of "hook", - and do you think readers know which Franklin? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:05, 23 May 2017 (UTC)
