The Princess from the Land of Porcelain
[edit]- ... that a reviewer of James McNeill Whistler's The Princess from the Land of Porcelain (pictured) said it came across as a closely-cropped, carelessly taken photograph?
- ALT1:... that the model for James McNeill Whistler's The Princess from the Land of Porcelain (pictured) was not Asian, but Anglo-Greek?

- Article is long enough, well cited and within date. References for the hook alt hook checks out, the offline for the first hook taken in good faith. I have a slight preference for the interesting juxtaposition of the presumably oriental subject expected from the title, and the unexpected ethnic background of the subject. This looks good to go.
