The Great Sage, Heaven's Equal
[edit]- ... that Liaozhai author Pu Songling was critical of people who worshipped fictional characters like the Monkey King?

- New enough, long enough, QPQ done and sources accepted as per AGF. Image looks alright, too, but my concern involves the hook. It's not directly cited in the article, and what is quoted seems to be a much broader critique - "...not on the actual existence of a god or a fictional character but on the illusory strength of human belief and desire..." - than just people who believed in one such diety, namely Sun Wukong. Rhetorically speaking, it's also a small jump to change from attacking a mindset than attacking people with a certain mindset. In my opinion, the quoted material doesn't allow for that. All in all: it might be best to come up with a new hook altogether.—♦♦ AMBER(ЯʘCK) 12:52, 13 March 2016 (UTC)
- I have tweaked the proposed hook -- a small problem, I find. Thanks. Kingoflettuce (talk) 11:33, 14 March 2016 (UTC)
