The Duals
[edit]- ... that The Duals' "Stick Shift" was the first hot rod song to chart nationally? Source: [1]
Created by TheGracefulSlick (talk). Self-nominated at 19:56, 3 May 2017 (UTC).
- Obscure, but interesting piece of music history. All statements are cited with reliable sources. Article is neutral and long enough. This article was created the same day as its nomination and thus meets that criteria. I think adding sources for the Discography and maybe creating a table for its position on the Billboard Hot 100 would be a good idea. See this, for an example. But that won't hold me back from supporting this nomination--12george1 (talk) 18:21, 10 May 2017 (UTC)
- Most of the information in the article is based on one site, which appears to be user-generated content. Do you have another RS that confirms the hook fact? BTW this source gives more information about the song "Stick Shift". Yoninah (talk) 22:52, 16 May 2017 (UTC)
- Yoninah the 1996 liner notes from the Duals' reissued album also can verify the hook. Is that source permissible?TheGracefulSlick (talk) 00:05, 17 May 2017 (UTC)
- @TheGracefulSlick: Yes. The more verification, the better. Yoninah (talk) 00:11, 17 May 2017 (UTC)
- Yoninah I have replaced the source. Let me know if there is more I should do. Thank you.TheGracefulSlick (talk) 00:22, 17 May 2017 (UTC)
