The Captive Slave
[edit]- ... that the heroic, antislavery painting The Captive Slave (pictured) was not seen in public for 180 years?

- This is just the start of my review (hence no tick mark yet). New enough, long enough, suitably referenced. I have italicised both the article title and "(pictured)" in the hook. More later. Schwede66 19:03, 15 February 2015 (UTC)
- Second half of the review. I've run the online references through the Duplication Detector and references 2, 4, and 5 came out clean. Reference 1 is a jpg and I didn't manage to convert this through OCR to something that resulted in meaningful text, so I shall assume good faith on that one. I have removed a category redlink as per WP:CAT. The hook facts check out, including "heroic", "antislavery", and "180 years". QPQ check reveals six previous credits, so a QPQ is required before this can go any further. Once that's done, I shall state that this is a good piece of work suitable for the lead hook.
