Terpios hoshinota
- ... that Terpios hoshinota, a sponge which overgrows and kills corals, has spread extensively since being detected in Guam in 1973?
- ALT1:... that the sponge Terpios hoshinota, which causes the black disease of corals, is threatening coral reefs in the Pacific Ocean?

- : Content-wise this is all good to go. It's new enough, easily hits the length requirement, and has no policy issues. Reliable sources are cited appropriately, and I don't see any CV/close paraphrasing. As to the hook, my preference is ALT1, which I think is more interesting/likely to draw the reader in (I've taken the liberty of adding "the" as in "the black disease of corals", which makes it more similar to the phrasing in the article). Sources for both hooks check out though so either is acceptable. QPQ is done, so I think that's all bases covered for this one. ♠PMC♠ (talk) 22:15, 7 October 2020 (UTC)
