- Comment: I'm not really sure where to put the link for this one; feel free to suggest a better place.
5x expanded by HueSatLum (talk). Self nominated at 02:13, 4 December 2013 (UTC).
- First of all, it's not long enough, yet. Before the expansion, it had about 1,156 characters, and it only has about 2,300 in its current state. The prose would have to be expanded fivefold for a count of about 5,800 characters for it to be eligible. There are also two claims that should be cited: "As of 1997 there were 14,000 radios." and "As of 1997 there were 4,00 television sets." (which I believe is supposed to be 4,000). The lead should attempt to be more of a summary of the entire article instead of just a one-line introduction as well. However, it is new enough (the expansion started on December 3), and the hook is cited in the article, so that's good. If the above issues are fixed, I believe this article would be eligible for DYK.--十八 05:40, 4 December 2013 (UTC)
- About the expansion, the article originally was basically a list, and I turned it to prose. There were only 54 characters of prose at the beginning so it should be well over 5x. I will address the other points later today. ~HueSatLum 12:52, 4 December 2013 (UTC)
- Update: I expanded the lead and cited those claims. ~HueSatLum 22:52, 4 December 2013 (UTC)
