Telechrome

[edit]
  • Reviewed: I did about a dozen reviews two weeks ago, but of course I can't find any of them now. There should really be a search right here in the form.

  • @Maury Markowitz: This article is new enough and long enough. Baird was obviously a great innovator, but I can't really find any sentences with inline citations that fully support the hook facts. Indeed, you did a number of reviews on March 3rd (see your contributions) so lets select Destruction of ivory as a QPQ. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 08:20, 29 March 2016 (UTC)
Can you be more specific as to the problems? The Wireless World article, for instance, clearly states it displays stereo images (as do most of the references actually), while the Media Museum specifically says it is the first. And it was; the Geer tube was not built until 1950. Maury Markowitz (talk) 11:35, 8 April 2016 (UTC)
The "inline citation" criterion for DYK requires a reference at the end of a sentence in which a hook fact is mentioned. The first sentence in the lead states a fact used in the hook. Where is this mentioned in the main body of text with an inline citation? And which specific sentence, with inline citation, supports the stereoscopic images bit? Both have been added. Maury Markowitz (talk) 18:48, 9 April 2016 (UTC)
  • The hook facts now have inline citations so this is ready to go. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 04:54, 14 April 2016 (UTC)
