- Wow, this article is making me feel patriotic for the 4th of July holiday. The article was created yesterday, probably for the holiday, and so is new enough. DYK check says that its readable prose size is 2444 characters, which is enough. A range of citations is used but I think it was a good call to draw most from the Oxford University Press source. Citations are appropriately used. The text meets neutrality guidelines. The hook is an acceptable length, interesting enough, and sourced correctly to a reputable publication. Earwig's Copyvio Detector finds no problem, so this passes the copyright check. The QPQ is done. The picture was presented bigger than 100x100 so I made it smaller, and it looks good. The image has an appropriate copyright release. This nomination is fine. Blue Rasberry (talk) 01:52, 5 July 2016 (UTC)
- Have reverted the image size to 120x133, which is the current main page standard and used across DYK, and added "(pictured)" to the hook. BlueMoonset (talk) 16:43, 13 July 2016 (UTC)
