ALT 1... that T Peter Brody invented the Active-matrix liquid crystal display for notebook computers?
ALT 2... that T Peter Brody co-invented the most widely used flat panel display?
- I added a suggestion for an alternate hook, but the connection between the display and notebook computers needs a citation. RockMagnetist (talk) 17:37, 14 October 2011 (UTC)
ALT 3... that in 1979 T Peter Brody, inventor of the flat panel display, said "The cathode ray tube, like the brontosaurus, will become extinct, and for the same reason: too much bulk, very little brain"?
ALT 4... that T Peter Brody invented the Thin Film Transistor Active matrix display, the predominant flat panel display technology in use today?
It looks ready for DYK now. Nice article! On the whole, I prefer the first hook to the alternates. What he achieved is interesting enough; it doesn't need dressing up with a quote. RockMagnetist (talk) 20:04, 17 October 2011 (UTC)
