Suna Besha
[edit]- ...
that the Suna Besha (pictured) means adorning with golden jewelry the three deities Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra in the Jagannath Temple, Puri, which is observed 5 times in a year?

- Thank you .....so it means putting on jewellery, or in the first line it says its a costume and later on in the article it appears to be a celebration. Which? If its all three then say this with a cite please. As it is, its impossible to check the hook. Victuallers (talk) 14:56, 7 July 2015 (UTC)
- @Victuallers: Thanks for the review. Changed to "adornment" in the lead and other places as "adorned or decorated" in the article. --Nvvchar. 15:59, 7 July 2015 (UTC)
- I'm still confused. In the lead I can still read it as jewellery ("is a kingly adornment of gold jewelry") and as the decoration of some statues (" It means adorning the three deities ") and "During 2015, the Suna Besha will be held" implies its an event. Which is true?

- @Victuallers: Suna Besha is an event held five times in a year when the three deities are adorned with gold jewelry. Does this clarify?--Nvvchar. 18:20, 7 July 2015 (UTC)
- ummm thats not what the hook says. Its says it means to adorn with gold jewellery. I think this hook and the article need to be checked now that the meaning is clear because there are quite a few sentences that say "Suna Beshi means ...." and I cannot see any agreement. See below Victuallers (talk) 18:33, 7 July 2015 (UTC)
- ..(alt1). that during the Suna Besha event, Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra are adorned with golden jewelry (pictured)?
- @Victuallers: Made changes to the text in the lead and elsewhere in the article to make it clear that it is an event held five times in a year. I am now suggesting this ALT2 Hook ... that during the Suna Besha event, held five times in year, Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra are adorned with golden jewelry (pictured)? --Nvvchar. 19:19, 7 July 2015 (UTC)
- Lots of refs including one for the hook facts, length are OK. I've added an extra word to alt2 to make it clear. Free image. Neutral. No paraphrasing spotted. Thanks for this. Victuallers (talk) 19:34, 7 July 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks,@Victuallers:.--Nvvchar. 20:10, 7 July 2015 (UTC)
