Sun Lounge (railcar)

[edit]

Postcard of a Sun Lounge interior

Created by Mackensen (talk). Self nominated at 17:42, 24 May 2014 (UTC).

  • This is my first review, so would appreciate somebody checking my work. Article is new enough (created today). Article is long enough (2956 characters of prose). I don't see any policy issues. Hook is correctly formatted, good length, interesting, neutral, and correctly cited in the article. I don't have access to the off-line source, so I can't verify the accuracy. I don't know how to perform the QPQ check. The image appears to be Public Domain (but I'm not an expert on such matters). I think there is a problem with the quality of the image at small sizes. The 150 x 98 thumbnail is almost unrecognizable. — Preceding unsigned comment added by RoySmith (talkcontribs) 20:19 24 May 2014
  • RoySmith, you've done a pretty good review for your first time out. Here's some supplementary info:
  • QPQ is required. Although QPQ checker has been down since earlier this month, Mackensen has had more than 5 previous DYKs.
  • Duplication Detector run on all online sourcing showed no issues of concern.
  • Dablinks tool showed no issues.
  • Checklinks tool showed no issues of concern.
  • The citation for the hook is not actually a subscription, but a link to its WorldCat (catalog) listing. I did do a Google Books search, and there is nothing at Google. So, we Assume Good Faith (AGF) on the source
  • The image is really pleasing, and it is sourced at Commons under PD due to its original date of 1964. But as every browser is different, I would leave it up to the promoter if they want to use the image.
  • So, really, everything checks out except that Mackensen needs to do a QPQ review. Once that is done, I think this article can go. — Maile (talk) 15:52, 25 May 2014 (UTC)
Reviewed Mary's Club. Maile66; I'm glad you like the image. It's been on the project for years but I never had the sources to build an article around it. Mackensen (talk) 19:44, 25 May 2014 (UTC)
  • All criteria now met. This nomination is good 2 go. — Maile (talk) 16:32, 26 May 2014 (UTC)
