Withdrawn
Stukas (film)
[edit]- ... that in the 1941 German film Stukas, a shell-shocked flyer is cured by hearing Wagner's music at the Bayreuth Festival?
- Comment: Created on 24 October, moved to mainspace on 29 October; nominating under the former date for simplicity's sake.

- And I have now reviewed Colt Lyerla. Yngvadottir (talk) 21:05, 1 November 2012 (UTC)
- Article is long enough and was moved into mainspace on 29th October. The hook is suitably sourced. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 18:20, 3 November 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks! However:
- I'm placing this nomination on hold for now pending repudiation of the RfC closure in favor of having DYK be required to include GAs. I do not participate in GA and therefore will not participate in a blended DYK project. Yngvadottir (talk) 22:16, 3 November 2012 (UTC)
- And now? — Crisco 1492 (talk) 23:31, 15 November 2012 (UTC)
- I'm not aware of any movement since the AN thread on revisiting the closure was archived without action, so DYK remains at an impasse, at least from my point of view. I regret this extremely; I valued DYK very highly and was happy to help out there (and I was looking forward to sharing the Wagner cure for shellshock) but I can't help incubate a cuckoo's egg. So I guess unless there's something I'm unaware of, this had better be withdrawn. --Yngvadottir (talk) 13:05, 16 November 2012 (UTC)
- Fair enough. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 13:53, 16 November 2012 (UTC)
