Street Musique
[edit]- ... that the 1972 animated film Street Musique by Ryan Larkin was inspired by street musicians?
- ALT1:... that a cash prize Ryan Larkin won at the Melbourne International Film Festival for the animated film Street Musique was used to support young artists in Montreal?
ALT2:... that Ryan Larkin said he "didn't know how to end the film" Street Musique because he "ran out of ideas"?- Reviewed: Template:Did you know nominations/Hal Peck

- Article is new enough (7 Feb 2014 creation), long enough (DYKCheck 2854 characters), referencing seems sufficient, reliable and in order, with AGF towards the article's offline refs, QPQ is present. Main Hook 92 chars, matches the Robinson ref whose page was avail on Google Books; ALT1 164 chars, matches The Age ref and again the Robinson ref; ALT2 106 chars, also seems consistent with Robinson ref. Hooks seem free of NPOV issues; Main is succinct and descriptive, although the "Street Musique... inspired by street musicians" wording may seem a bit circular; ALT1 is interesting although it seems slightly complex; ALT2 seems to leave a negative POV impression about Larkin's talent, although in the wider context of the article, the unresolved ending of the film and the filmmaker's explanation is a referenced and interesting aspect (perhaps it is feasible to reword ALT2 for DYK purposes?). In conclusion, ALT1 seems the most interesting of the three with Main Hook a decent second choice. Dl2000 (talk) 02:04, 13 February 2014 (UTC)
- ALT3:... that Ryan Larkin said he "didn't know how to end" his award-winning film Street Musique because he "ran out of ideas"?
