Stanisław Samostrzelnik
[edit]... that the last name of the prominent Renaissance painter Stanisław Samostrzelnik means a crossbow maker in Old Polish?
or... that Stanisław Samostrzelnik was the first Polish painter known by name who painted in the Renaissance style?

- Substantial article, unfortunately it seems not expanded 5* during the last 5 days before nomination. Also I would not be interested in the hook, and it lacks a reference and relation to the picture. Can you expand? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:51, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
- The article was expanded fivefold within five days before nomination (880 characters of prose -> 4999 characters of prose). BurgererSF (talk) 19:12, 13 January 2012 (UTC)
- The tool gives me 868 vs. 4699, which is fine. (I didn't have time to check the details the other day, sorry.) I removed the stub class. Please suggest a hook for the picture, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 19:29, 13 January 2012 (UTC)
