Silaum
[edit]... that the colour yellow, the Italian plateau La Sila and ironically uncertainity itself have been given as possible etymologies for Silaum (pictured)?- ALT 1... that whilst the exact etymology is uncertain, the colour yellow and the Italian mountainous plateau La Sila have been offered as possible etymologies for Silaum (pictured)?

- The source used does not say "uncertainty" is a possible etymology, it states that it is uncertain of the etymology. (Note that this error is also present in Silaum silaus). I am also uncertain of the reliability of the Burton reference. Resolute 03:36, 2 January 2014 (UTC)
- Whoops, that 'uncertainty' error was embarrassing, though I've fixed that in both articles now. The Burton reference seems reasonably reliable - he has experience in the field, it is not original research but only information synthesized from books on the subject, the website is the most comprehensive website on the Apiacea family in GB. I hope this satisfies your concerns. Acather96 (click here to contact me) 12:21, 2 January 2014 (UTC)
