Siberian chipmunk

[edit]

Created/expanded by Jparen3 (talk). Self nominated at 16:48, 4 April 2014 (UTC).

  • Article doesn't seem to meet the new criteria - created in 2006, no 5x expansion (4361 bytes on 1 Mar 2014, would need to be > 20000 bytes now, but < 16000; or 7949 prose characaters vs 2447 in that same period per DYKcheck, or 1299 words vs 422 words again per DYKcheck), 2x not applicable (non-BLP), apparently not good article status. Also, the hook is derived from the lede, but does not seem to supported by references later in the article (although at lease one RS may support this). Also self-nom does not seem to indicate QPQ. Too bad as the hook seems interesting enough and other factors seem good; perhaps bring up to GA and try DYK again then. Dl2000 (talk) 23:59, 10 April 2014 (UTC)
