Comment: I am trying to balance neutrality with making the hook interesting. Saying that he was a spy for secret police may sound nicer, but could also be more pejorative. Further comments / alt hooks welcome.

Overall: In future, please list your article the day that you started/expanded it, rather than the date of nomination. Judging from the article and the source, it's not really accurate to say that he worked for the "secret police".
