Shamsi Hekmat
[edit]- ... that Shamsi Hekmat was a founder of the Jewish Ladies’ Organization of Iran in 1947 and the Iranian Jewish Women's Organization of Southern California?
- ALT1:... that Shamsi Hekmat, who established the Jewish Ladies’ Organization of Iran with nine others, called it a "miracle or a revolution in the social life of Iranian Jewish women?

- This article is new enough and long enough. Either hook could be used; the hook facts have inline citations, and the article is neutral and does not appear to have any copyright issues. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:21, 29 March 2016 (UTC)
- @Nvvchar: Hi, I came by to promote this. I like the first hook, but do not see the founding date of the Iranian Jewish Women's Organization of Southern California either in the source or the article. The source says that she emigrated to the US in 1979, but not the date she founded the organization. Yoninah (talk) 21:48, 4 April 2016 (UTC)
- Yoninah This reference [1] gives the details of the office bearers of the Jewish Ladies' Organization of Iran from 1947 to 1978 which includes the name and img of Hekmat. Would it suffice? I have added it in the article.Nvvchar. 13:10, 5 April 2016 (UTC)
- @Nvvchar: it's a nice ref, but it doesn't say anything about the year the Iranian Jewish Women's Organization of Southern California was founded. If you don't have a ref, just remove the "1979" date from the hook and the article. Yoninah (talk) 22:57, 5 April 2016 (UTC)
- Removed the "1979" date in the hook and the article.Nvvchar. 01:16, 6 April 2016 (UTC)
