Scelophysa trimeni

Male blue monkey beetle on an African daisy in South Africa

  • ... that blue monkey beetles (pictured) both feed and mate in the dark centres of unscented flowers?

  • AGF on offline source, everything else checks out. I like original hook as it matches the picture. ALT2 also sounds good but there is no mention of prehensility anywhere in the text. I can also crop the picture if you want. Anyway, good to go.-- OBSIDIANSOUL 06:35, 13 August 2012 (UTC)
    • Thanks for the review! I think I also prefer the original hook. As for cropping the picture, I've already cropped it a fair amount but think this is good because it keeps the flower in frame. Julia\talk 07:13, 13 August 2012 (UTC)
  • Ah, yep, cropping it further will make the flower unrecognizable, heh. -- OBSIDIANSOUL 07:20, 13 August 2012 (UTC)
