- The article is new enough, long enough, and well cited with inline citations. Earwig shows 0.0% chance of plagiarism. A QPQ check shows you're good there too. I think where we're going to run into some trouble is on the hook facts. It's a nice idea to include some of the snippets from the informational poster to provide some social-personal background for the article, but I don't think it is a reliable enough source for a hook fact. The primary issue is that there's no attribution of authorship, either on the part of a person or an association. Unless that can be provided somehow, I think it might be better to take a fact from elsewhere in the article. One possibility that came to mind as I read the article was something like ... that the total production of the Saunders Creek mine was 853,100 tonnes? Yes, much more boring, but more of a reliable fact. — AJDS talk 15:38, 7 March 2017 (UTC)
- I added this information to the article, and would like to suggest the following as a possible hook:
- ALT2:... that fossils from the Paleocene period have been found near Saunders Creek, Alberta, including a possible pantodont upper molar? Source See paragraph under heading "Saunders Creek: Alberta", right hand side, p. 57. Mary Mark Ockerbloom (talk) 02:21, 9 March 2017 (UTC)
I like ALT2 and the info about the fossils. Georgialh (talk) 21:24, 14 March 2017 (UTC)
