Sandplace
[edit]- ... that in 1970, Peter Bessell, the Liberal MP for the Bodmin constituency and a resident of Sandplace fled abroad to avoid debt?
5x expanded by Jowaninpensans (talk). Self nominated at 11:04, 25 March 2014 (UTC).
- Article has been 5x expanded with the past 5 days, but is still not long enough (only 1406 characters). Also the reference for the is a hook is a hotel website which is not the most reliable of sources (the site provides a link to Peter Bessel's Wikipedia page, which may also bring up the issue of WP:CIRCULAR). Furthermore, the first reference appears to be a dead link. Other than that, the article is neutral and does not contain close paraphrasing, copyright violations, or plagiarism. --Hirolovesswords (talk) 18:29, 25 March 2014 (UTC)
- Have just pinged the nominator's talk page since there hasn't been a response. To clarify one point above: all articles nominated for DYK must have a minimum of 1500 prose characters whether new or 5x expanded, and while this is 5x expanded, it still doesn't meet DYK's minimum length. - There is still no response from the nominator, who has been active on Wikipedia. It's been over three weeks, so it's time to close this as unsuccessful. I've given a final courtesy ping. BlueMoonset (talk) 06:06, 18 April 2014 (UTC)
