S. M. Holden
[edit]- ... that S. M. Holden, the only candidate ever to stand for the National Prohibition Party in England, had previously campaigned for a minimum wage and old age pensions?

- Long enough, nominated within timeframe, well referenced to reliable sources and appears neutral. The hook is interesting, short enough, supported by the article and is sourced to offline apparently reliable book. QPQ done. Earwig found no issues but almost all the sources are offline. My one comment would be that it would be nice to have an article for the English National Prohibition Party (the current link goes to the wrong place), but that's not a DYK criterion.
