Russian battleship Peresvet

... that the Russian battleship Peresvet was scuttled during the Siege of Port Arthur, during the Russo-Japanese War of 1904–05, and was then salvaged afterwards by the Japanese and placed into service by them?

Article is new enough, long enough, well-referenced, AGF on offline sources. However, the image has no source information or proof it is PD, and thus should not be used on the main page. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 10:41, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
