- Hook: Interesting... ish. Short enough. Image is fine. Both citations check out.
- Article: Long enough, new enough. Citation needed tag added. Ref 3 really needs formatting if we are to use hook 1. No close paraphrasing against both hook sources.
- Summary: Needs reference fixing. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 12:10, 22 May 2012 (UTC)
- I've filled in the references, and taken care of the CN tag. – Muboshgu (talk) 14:57, 22 May 2012 (UTC)
- Maybe it would make the hook more interesting if we mention that he retired as a player after the 1979 season. Baseball Reference can back that up. – Muboshgu (talk) 15:20, 22 May 2012 (UTC)
- Certainly would be more interesting. Other stuff looks fine. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 15:42, 22 May 2012 (UTC)
- ALT2: ... that Rudy Árias (pictured) was a replacement player during the 1994–95 Major League Baseball strike, though he retired as a player in 1979?
- Good to go. ALT2 preferred. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 01:01, 23 May 2012 (UTC)
