2013 Rosario gas explosion
[edit]... that there was an explosion in Rosario shortly before the 2013 Argentine legislative election?

- Firstly, I moved the page to 2013 Rosario gas explosion to make it consistent with similar titles. 5x expansion verified. New enough, long enough, well-referenced. Foreign-language refs AGF. There is one citation needed tag in the lead that needs to be replaced with a source. Also, the hook is boring. How about writing something about residents smelling gas earlier, or about the candidates ending their campaigns? Yoninah (talk) 20:27, 9 October 2013 (UTC)
- ALT1 ... that some candidates in the 2013 Argentine legislative election ended their political campaigns after a gas explosion in Rosario? Cambalachero (talk) 01:34, 11 October 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you, that's a lot better. I would suggest saying "gas explosion" rather than just "explosion". However, the article states that only "some" candidates ended their campaign as a result. Is the wording in the article incorrect? After you make sure that the referenced statement in the article and the hook say the same thing, we'll be ready to go. - Yes, "some" was the intended word. The national mourning and the request to end the political campaigns was not mandatory. The major political parties ended their campaigns, but minor ones did not. There was a demonstration called by minor parties for a few days afterwards, and it was not cancelled; but few people attended it Cambalachero (talk) 02:39, 14 October 2013 (UTC)
