Romesh Chandra

  • Some issues found. DYKReviewBot (report bugs) 01:23, 8 July 2016 (UTC)
    • Timely; long enough (2011 elig. chars.); generally well-cited; copyvios are negligible, though the article should probably chose a different verb and word order for the sentence "...Chandra was awarded the F. Joliot-Curie Gold Peace Medal in 1964"; hook terse enough; but hook currently appears uncited. There's no citation following the fact and the citation on the next line says he "headed" the organization, not that he was its president. Kindly, fix that. — LlywelynII 20:27, 11 July 2016 (UTC)

Fixed phrasing and there was a cite. It was just misplaced. Fixed. [Though, Dharmy, while it's not important for this DYKN, please note that your source gave different dates for Mr Chandra's positions than you gave. If you mistyped it, it's fixed, but if the Wire gave the wrong dates and you had a second source that's correct, you should fix that in the article and put the cite in.]

Also, Mr Chandra is dead. Therefore, unless we have a North Korean situation going on here, he can't be "the leader" of the CPI any more. Hook fixed. — LlywelynII 21:06, 11 July 2016 (UTC)
