Rokugō rebellion
[edit]- ... that over 1,000 rōnins rebelled at Rokugō "in a final suicidal gesture" for their former lord Onodera Yoshimichi in 1603? Source: [Turnbull, Stephen (2010). Hatamoto. Samurai Horse and Foot Guards 1540–1724. Oxford: Osprey Publishing, p. 55]

- New and long article. No apparent copyvios. Hook checks out from the reference book. No QPQ required this being 4th DYK. The reference says the rebellion took place in the tenth lunar month of 1603. Was it November then? I don't have much knowledge of Japanese calendar. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {Talk / Edits} 05:16, 29 December 2016 (UTC)
- I will AGF on that point as that source is not visible to me online. The hook checks out well though. GTG. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {Talk / Edits} 03:31, 30 December 2016 (UTC)
