Robert C. Stebbins, Microlophus albemarlensis
[edit]( Back to T:TDYK )
( Article history links: )
- ... that biologist Robert C. Stebbins once dosed Galápagos lava lizards (pictured) with radiation and tracked them with a Geiger counter?
- Reviewed: Same as You, Coffee production in Guam
- Comment: Microlophus albemarlensis, originally created by User:Dger, expanded 5x after initial Stebbins template, so I added it as a double DYK (templates may need appropriate adjustments).

- One of these articles is new and the other a fivefold expansion. Both are new enough and long enough. I have changed the word "doused" in the hook to "dosed" as used in the article, - it sounds a little less drastic. The hook facts are cited inline, the articles are neutral and I found no indication of close paraphrasing. The image is suitably licensed. I suggest you add a caption for the range map of the lizard as it currently resembles blobs of ink! Cwmhiraeth (talk) 09:09, 21 June 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for that, I misread the quote. Caption added! --Animalparty-- (talk) 20:30, 27 June 2015 (UTC)
