- The article is just shy of 2500 bytes, and was created three days before nomination, satisfying DYK criteria. Some of this article reads more like a newspaper account than an encyclopedia article, and quotations represent more than 20% of the article. (Article still satisfies DYK length criteria without them.) The first sentence in "Career" talks about 2010, and is followed by a non sequitur quotation from the 2012 competition. At least invert the latter to let the reader know about the change. Starting with the quotation throws off the reader. Try to avoid colloquialisms (eg - "clocking"); I've fixed these for you, but please avoid them in the future. BLP concern - the infobox has "two" in the entry for spouses; cite this or remove it. (Also, the source you used to support the claim of two children states she has three.) QPQ completed. Hook is short and sourced in article (piecing together various bits); I've changed capitalization for 'para'. In all, two minor issues to fix (invert sentence; source or rm spouse info). - @TheQ Editor: I think you need to check that spouse field again. It is not for the number of children, it should list the name of her spouse (husband or wife). I doubt she has three spouses, which is why I cited this as a BLP concern. Regarding the quotation: you didn't invert it, and the source is unclear, but it's referring to the 2012 Summer Paralympics and that she started cycling after the 2010 games. Basically, the WP article should say "After the 2012 Summer Paralympics, Weldon said "I am very happy..."". Mindmatrix 19:50, 6 October 2014 (UTC)
- @Mindmatrix: Ahhh, that would be one of my stupid mistakes. I believe it is fixed now. For the quotation, I've realized that the source was talking about the 2010 Para-cycling Worlds not the 2010 Paralympics. How is it now? ΤheQ Editor Talk? 20:09, 6 October 2014 (UTC)
