Are there any other possible hook options here? The hook as currently written doesn't seem to appeal to those unfamiliar with the character. New enough, just long enough, neutral and free of close paraphrasing concerns. I gave it a light copy edit and added an image of the artist's signature. I found this entry at kieselbach.hu of the artist, which renders his name with a grave accent over the a—should the article's title reflect this? Said page also contains a sketch (self-portrait?) of the artist. As I'm not an expert at the subject matter, could you tell me if that portrait is old enough to qualify as public domain in Austria/Hungary? It would be a nice bit of illustration for the article (not like it really needs more, but still nice). QPQ done. ALT1 interesting enough; I added "pictured" to it as I think the example of Pierrot the mime qualifies as a carnival motif. @Evrik: DigitalIceAge (talk) 05:02, 13 April 2022 (UTC)
