• Length and dates are OK. Article is thoroughly footnoted. Seems to be OK w/r/t plagiarism/copyvio matters. The hook fact is basically OK, but I have minor quibbles with its wording (the "Act" wasn't introduced, only a bill was introduced; also, the bill does not "call for" a ban, but rather it would impose a ban). For accuracy I would reword it as follows:

• ALT1 ... that the Research Works Act proposed in the U.S. House of Representatives would ban open access mandates for federally funded research?

I was not aware of this bill, so I appreciate the article and hook! --Orlady (talk) 16:08, 12 January 2012 (UTC)
