Red Canal, First Winter Bridge
( Back to T:TDYK )
( Article history links: )
- ... that the bridge (pictured) built to cross the Red Canal in Saint Petersburg now spans an entirely different watercourse? Source: "In 1768 a single-span stone arched bridge was built over the neighbouring Red Canal ... In 1783–1784, the bridge was dismantled, transferred in parts to Millionnaya Street and erected over the Winter Canal" ([1]

- The article is long enough, new enough, Copyvio is not an issue, the sources are in Russian so need to be accepted in good faith but the DYK template has not been placed on the article's talk page, so my review is red linked. Please see the Template talk:Did you know. Quetzal1964 (talk) 08:33, 7 July 2019 (UTC)
- I've fixed that for you, the problem is that this is a two article nomination, and the title is "Template:Did you know nominations/Red Canal", not "Template:Did you know nominations/First Winter Bridge" as you had it. Template talk:Did you know says "Consider adding..." and there is no requirement that it be placed on the talk page - though bot trials to add it automatically are in progress.
