React (The Pussycat Dolls song)
... that the Pussycat Dolls' new single "React" is the group's first release in over a decade?
Moved to mainspace by Lil-unique1 (talk). Self-nominated at 11:26, 29 January 2020 (UTC).
- New enough, long enough, neutrally written, well referenced. As Earwig's is down, unable to check for close paraphrasing. Images are fair use and freely licensed.
- Regarding the hook, you need to have an inline cite at the end of the sentence that contains the hook fact. This hook fact is only mentioned in the lead without a cite. But the hook itself is not "hooky", especially if you've never heard of the group. You have a practically GA-class article here with lots of interesting information. Could you suggest another interesting fact? Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 19:25, 19 February 2020 (UTC)
- Note that as the nominator has six prior DYK credits, a QPQ review will need to be provided for this nomination. BlueMoonset (talk) 08:36, 20 February 2020 (UTC)
- I've reviewed Sakharam Ganesh Pandit see here
Alternative hook(s)
- ALT1:
... that former the Pussycat Dolls' member Melody Thornton decided not to join the group on their 2020 single "React" due to wanting to make and release music herself? - ALT2:
... that 400 people complained to British regulator Ofcom about the Pussycat Dolls' decision to wear sheer PVC outfits during a live performance on a family programme (The X Factor: Celebrity)?
- Thank you. The QPQ requirement calls for a full review, explicitly confirming that the five main DYK criteria have been met. You have only checked notability in your review. Don't worry, we're not in a rush. Please let me know here when you've done a full QPQ.
- I have formatted your alt hooks. ALT1 is pretty bland. ALT2 has potential, but it doesn't mention the target article. Would you like to write:
- ALT3: ... that British regulator Ofcom received 400 complaints about the Pussycat Dolls' decision to wear sheer PVC outfits during their live performance of "React" on a family programme? Yoninah (talk) 22:01, 20 February 2020 (UTC)
- Hook 3 is a defo improvement and I would support this. → Lil-℧niquԐ1 - (Talk) - 10:20, 21 February 2020 (UTC)
